Consultation: FREE
-This will typically take an hour-long where we can meet face-to-face and answer any questions we may have for each other.
If we both feel comfortable moving forward, I will then go over the doula/client contract at this time.
*Please note, an initial deposit will be due when contract is signed. Payment plans are available.*
If you have a birth partner (husband, significant other, parent, etc.) I would prefer for them to be present, as our bond and willingness to work together matters. I want to be able to answer any questions and/or concerns they may have for me at this time as well.
Fees:
$1100 for New Clients
$950 for Repeat Clients
*It is very important to me that if a mother desires the support of a doula, she gets just that, no matter the cost.
-If cost is the issue, please reach out to me and we can discuss pricing-
Discounted services to military, law enforcement & first responder families.
As your birth doula, I work only for you, not your caregiver, a hospital or birth center.
Services Include:
E-mail and Phone Availability 24/7 Throughout Pregnancy
-This service starts as soon as I am hired. Whether you have any questions, concerns or simply giving me updates, I am available via text, phone and email!
Custom Birth Plan
-This is a meeting that may take more than 1.5-2 hours where we will go over your options with evidence based information, preferences and birth goals. I will answer any questions you have and ultimately draw up a custom birth plan specifically for you.
Personally, this is one of my favorite meetings!
Two Prenatal Visits in Your Home
-We will go over basic education of child birth, comfort techniques, labor positions, finding your specific comfort measures for when it's time to give birth, and how to prepare for the fourth trimester, aka postpartum.
Continuous Labor/Delivery Support
-When labor starts, I will be there from the moment you need me until 1-2 hours after delivery. If mom can't take a break, neither should I; as part of your birthing team, we will get through this together!
1-2 hours Initial Postpartum Support
-Includes initial breastfeeding support
-This is the time that maybe your support partner may need to make a run for food or want any items that may have been forgotten. Either myself or partner can do these lite tasks and make sure mother and child are not left alone during this time.
Postpartum Visit
-Shortly after you are home we will set up a time for myself to come over. During this visit, I can provide breastfeeding support, baby care tips, care for mom, light housekeeping, referrals to community resources, and a chance to discuss the birth experience.
