Placenta Encapsulation
What are the benefits in consuming your placenta?
There are MANY reasons why you should!
Vitamins, hormones and nutrients are found inside your placenta, which is vital to postpartum healing and restoration.
Reports have shown the following:
Increase in milk production.
Shortening the recovery period.
Increase in energy levels.
Faster restoration of iron.
Provide overall hormone balance.
Decrease the risk of postpartum depression.
Ingesting your placenta is like getting a blood transfusion TWICE!
Are there any negative side effects or risks?
Encapsulating the placenta is completely safe as long as it’s done by a trained, skilled and certified specialist. You also want to ensure the specialist is up to OSHA standards with sanitation and disinfectant protocols, so make sure that you use ONLY a Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist.
Thankfully you're in luck. Check out my certificates here.

Methods of Placenta Encapsulation
I offer a variety of ways to prepare your placenta for consumption.
Each method has its own unique purpose to aid your body during postpartum.
Choosing the best method may be difficult for some; let me help you decide your perfect match!
RAW Capsule Preparation Method
The RAW method is the most potent.
It offers the highest iron content and the biggest energy boost.
You will get the highest yield of capsules using this method.
This method is contraindicated for those with anxiety/depression (unrelated to pregnancy and postpartum)
or who have a strong reaction/sensitivity to caffeine and other stimulants.
Average yield: 180 capsules*
Balanced Method
The Balanced method offers a more moderate flow of energy and hormones.
Due to the high dehydration temperature, there is greater protection against bacteria.
Average yield: 155 capsules*
Gentle Method (Traditional Chinese Medicine-inspired)
The Gentle method offers a very gradual energy and hormone release.
This method yields the least number of capsules due to steaming beforehand.
Due to the high dehydration temperature, there is greater protection against bacteria.
Average yield: 135 capsules*
Additional Encapsulation Options
Tinctures
The tincture is made from a thumbnail size piece of raw placenta and 100-150 proof
alcohol, aged for 6 weeks postpartum and then strained.
It is stored in an amber or cobalt-blue glass dropper bottle.
Gluten free alcohol available upon request.
Placenta Salve Uses
Salves can be used postpartum for hemorrhoids, tearing, burns, eczema, diaper rash, sun burns, and skin irritation.
Salves are also great for healing C-section incisions after the wound has closed.
They lessen scarring, itching and discomfort.
They’re safe for all ages as long as there are no skin allergies.
Placenta Smoothie
Smoothies are prepared and given to the mother directly after delivery.
A small piece of raw placenta is placed in a blender with your choice of organic fruits, veggies, juice and yogurt.
Smoothies are very helpful for the first couple of days after delivery because they give a quick boost of energy
which the mother desperately needs, especially after a long labor.
They’re raw so they’re more potent and effective.
The best part: YOU CAN’T TASTE THE PLACENTA!
*Total yield varies based on size and health of placenta
